Rasmus Holmboe

Rasmus Holmboe is postdoctoral project researcher at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde, Denmark on the project "Museums and Art in the Information Age". His PhD dissertation from the University of Copenhagen titled “The Resonant Museum: Sound, Art and the Politics of Curating” (2019) is currently under assessment. Previously he has lectured at the University of Copenhagen and been co-editor of the online music and sound art magazine Seismograf/DMT. He holds an MA in musicology from University of Copenhagen (2011). His research and curatorial interests focus on sound, contemporary art, performativity, museums and cultural theory. Previous curatorial activities include performance festivals, exhibitions, participatory art projects, book releases and archival projects.
